About Us

Thanks for stopping by. We’re glad you’re here and hope to see you at one of our Sunday services. Our services aren’t just something we attend or do. We aren’t just a building or an event. We are a people, the body of Christ, sinners saved by grace. That’s right. Our church is full of imperfect people, and that should make you feel all the more welcome. We all fall short of God’s glory and need a Savior—Jesus Christ.

We are a new church in Columbus. Our vision is to see a People, a City and a world awaken to God and His glory. We believe that the greatest need for people is that they would come to personally know Jesus Christ and behold Him supremely above all else. We invite you to come worship with us on Sunday mornings as we behold the Supremacy of Jesus Christ.

WHEN DO I NEED TO GET THERE?

It’s a good idea to arrive at least 15-20 minutes early in order to have plenty of time to park, get kids checked in and connect with others. Church starts at 10:00am but the Sanctuary doors and child check-in is open at 9:30am.

WHERE DO I PARK?

We try to structure parking in a way that allows the maximum amount of people to attend our service. Please follow the team’s instructions when parking. There will be a number of parking signs that will direct you to the correct place to park. There is street parking available as well as the garage parking lot that is located across the street from Yes Cinema.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

You’re invited to come as you are, whether it’s a suit or shorts or whatever you feel most comfortable wearing. Our members and attendees tend to dress pretty casual.

ATHENS KIDS

Athens Kids exists to fulfill the mission of Athens Church in making disciples by partnering with parents to build a gospel-centered spiritual foundation for their children. We accomplish this by providing care and biblical teaching during the weekend services, and by equipping parents to disciple their children at home. In Athens Kids, we will create environments that are welcoming, safe and secure, and where biblical truth is taught and the gospel is proclaimed. In addition, we will provide resources and training to help parents create gospel-centered environments at home.

Athens Kids is currently serving families with children who fall under of age bracket of infants through 3rd grade. Our volunteers are individuals who love working with kids and have a desire to see children come to know Jesus. Volunteers complete background checks and thorough applications, in addition to attending Athens Kids trainings.
